all three police officers portrayed are sus, especially that pr1ck, 0.00002 pikoseconds more of that arrest and I would have skiped this arc. Has so many leaps in logic its plain bs

this is one of the best examples i've ever seen of the Japanese public's insanity level paranoia about privately owned firearms. there's another example inside Conan about home storage and a guy committing suicide with a home stored firearm but that's a little different... but still kinda the same.

this guy gets ONE YEAR IN PRISON... for taking an order online to recreate for a display at a museum a... that looks like an American Colt early model Peacemaker. but i'd need more info than just some ok animations and freeze frames. then, the idiot cops try and arrest a national celebrity detective, JUST for saying the criminal's name, because he used a gun? now. i'm not a 100% certified expert witness when it comes to firearms manufacturing, but i know alot.

ok. the guy here in the metalshop, he's never made a 'ghost gun' before. basically, they're homemade copies of real guns. it is the #1 worst way to get a firearm illegally world. wide. so the guy didn't make a truly operating firearm, but somebody steals his project and then works on it turning it into a working firearm. friends, it don't work that way. period. that is a myth and just forget you ever heard it. the micro-meter tolerances in firearms manufacturing today are insane. that older Colt, yeah the design and specifications and such are somewhat generally known. various books etc. give dimensions and US Patent Office information from the Wild Wild West. so if you're an expert metalcrafter with a million plus USD$ shop, sure you could work your ass off and a basically, visually appealing and moderately correct pistol could come out of your shop. it ain't gonna fire because, the cylinders where the ammo goes in? shallow bore holes that just look through and through. the barrel? a solid cylinder of steel with JUST a tiny hole bored in the muzzle to make it LOOK like a real barrel. no springs, no levers, the trigger won't even be connected to the cocking and cylinder rotation system or the firing system. the hammer won't pull back and rotate the cylinder either. it is a fancy schmancy paperweight.
